Australian Troops at Auja c. 1917
One of the buildings at Auja is used for storage. Lined up along the ground are a number of historic pictures which capture the Jordan River at its highest level. Amongst them are a series of shots of Australian troops during WWI. Here is a picture of the 8th Australian Light Horse Regiment crossing the Jordan at Auja some time between 1916 and 1918.
